New City South is a church family with members from different nations and ethnic groups, young and old, rich and poor. We have been captured by the love of God and the grace of Jesus and have come to know God’s kindness at the point of our sin and weakness. God has made us new and continues to renew us so that we desire to follow Jesus in proclaiming and demonstrating the “good news of the Kingdom” (Matthew 4:32). As God’s dearly loved children, we are eager to grow together in our love for God, for one another, for our city, and for our world.
As a church family, we want to joyfully engage in worship, fellowship, and discipleship. We are called to live as ambassadors of Christ and to represent his coming Kingdom by doing justice, loving mercy, and walking humbly with God (Micah 6:8) through a variety of ministries in St. Louis and around the world.
Each Sunday morning we gather for worship to celebrate the resurrection of Christ through songs and prayers in different languages and as we learn together from God’s word. We are also committed to walking together in smaller groups called “community groups” throughout the week where we learn together, pray for each other, care for one another, and encourage one another in living out the good news of Jesus.
Our church members come from St. Louis and around the world. We are single and married and families with children young and old (lots of children!). We speak English and Swahili and French and Burmese and many other languages. We are black and white and Latino and Asian. We are students and teachers and professionals and factory workers from all walks of life.
We welcome you to join us for Sunday worship at 10:30 at 3502 Grace Avenue near the intersection of Grand and Gravois. If you have any questions please contact us.
