Nursery/Children’s ministry workers are members of our church family who feel called to help children learn and grow in faith. We hope that every family with nursery- and/or elementary-aged children will serve in one of these ministries.
The nursery’s goal is to have 1 worker for every 4 kids ages 0-2 and 1 worker for every 6 kids ages 3-4, which is generally 4-5 people serving each Sunday.
Children’s ministry has at least 1 teacher and 1 helper per classroom, about 6 people serving each Sunday.
Adults serve monthly in the primary teaching/leadership roles and youth may serve as helpers. Youth ages 12-17 may serve monthly with or without a parent depending on experience level in either the Nursery or Children’s Ministry. For the nursery, youth ages 9-11 may serve 4 times/year with a parent.
Anyone serving in Kingdom Kids who is 17 or older must have a background check.
Contact Nursery Coordinator Angela Finan (afinan@ncfstl.org) or Associate Pastor Roy Hubbard (royh@ncfstl.org) if you or your youth would like to start serving!
